DEVARTLab holds
the 48th scientific conference
towards better health to raise awareness about dangers of heart disease and its
prevention
DEVARTLab, the
leading company in the functional food and innovative pharmaceutical
industries, organized its 48th conference "For A Better Quality of Life
# 48", under title "Towards Better Health and maximum protection from
cardiovascular diseases", in the presence of best group of eminent professors
and in cooperation with ESMA Association (Egyptian Society of Metabolic
Syndrome).
The activities of
the Scientific meeting began with celebration of 6th October war
anniversary and a review of military operations carried out by Egypt at that
time to liberate Sinai land. The Islamic nation was also congratulated on the
Prophet’s birthday
Then we continued
the meeting by DEVARTLab vision review, which was admired by all audience
including our eminent chairpersons, and the history of cardiology in Egypt
At the beginning
of the scientific sessions, Prof. Dr. Ehab Salem, President of "ESMA"
Association and Professor of Endocrinology at Zagazig University, spoke about
the recent increase in atherosclerosis rates and how lifestyle is a major
factor in increasing these rates, and he pointed out that treatment from the
beginning of diagnosis is imperative, also he spoke about the role of Advochol
10 mg (rosuvastatin) from DEVARTLab products, and its effectiveness in
controlling the levels of low-density lipids and triglycerides in the blood.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Taj, Assistant Professor of Cardiology at Suez Canal
University, emphasized the increase in arterial calcification rates in the last
decade and the danger extent of calcium deposition on blood vessels’ wall and
heart tissue in the deterioration of patients’ health who suffering from heart
disease, atherosclerosis, diabetes and kidney disease.
He also addressed the role of Mena Q. “Vitamin K2” that protect
patients, prevents calcium deposits on blood vessels’ wall and heart tissues,
and reduces mortality rates resulting from arterial calcification, and its role
in reducing the complications of atherosclerosis. He stressed the importance of
using Mena Q with these cases to ensure that calcium is not deposited on blood
vessels’ wall and to reduce the complications of atherosclerosis and the
deterioration of disease.
Prof. Dr. Yasser
Abdel-Galil, Professor of Cardiology at Al-Azhar Medicine, reviewed the rates
of high blood pressure and the rates of heart failure that followed, and
pointed out the importance of the role of the Nepvol product on lowering aortic
blood pressure and its effective course with patients with heart failure.
Prof. Dr. Jamila
Nasr, Professor of Cardiology at Suez Canal University and a member of
Directors board of Egyptian Heart Association, pointed out that DEVARTLab introduced
new and innovative solutions in the Egyptian pharmaceutical market, including
"Mena Q", "Pharafero 18 and 18 Plus" and "Advochol".
and "Nepvol".
Also, Dr. Ahmed
Salah Shams, a kidney teacher at Zagazig University, spoke about the importance
of the product “Pharafero 18 and 18 Plus” and that it is one of the best
products in iron deficiency anemia management due to its effectiveness without
side effects such as abdominal pain, constipation and other problems that
exhausted the Egyptian patient who is looking for an optimum solution for iron
